Great North Run 19th September

Sheffield Kidney Research Foundation has 22 runners competing in the Great North Run on the 19th September, each one raising sponsorship.

Every year SKRF buys twenty places, would you like to put your name down for one, please contact Gerry New on billy.kidney@sheffield.ac.uk and she will reserve you or one of your family a place.

How To Help

Many supporters help us raise funds by organising events. Could you HELP. The following are some of the ways money has been raised for us in the past but if you can think of anything else Gerry will give you all the help you need in making it a successful day or event.

• Sell our badges, key rings, phone mascots
• Raffles
• Luncheons – cook a luncheon and invite your friends and neighbours
• Keep Fit Classes
• Hold a Jumble Sale
• Donations
• Coffee Mornings and Bring and Buy – invite all your friends and neighbours
• Arrange and be responsible for a collection tin at your local shop
• Sponsored walks
• Sponsored runs and cycle rides
• Golf Tournaments
• Make and sell Cakes, Toys, Cards
• Join our 500 CLUB:-

For only £1 per month per number, you will have the opportunity not only to win a cash prize every month but also help raise money for vital research into kidney disease.

The Sheffield Kidney Research Foundation run their own Lottery and this is your opportunity to join. To be included in the draw please complete the Standing Order Form and send it to:

Unfortunately it has to be done by old fashioned post because the bank needs to see your signature.

I will send your signed copy to your bank manager to set up the standing order and a copy to you which will include your lucky number.

You will be pleased to know that the bank does not charge for standing orders.

We hold our Draw at the end of each month. Do not hesitate or you may miss out.

Our monthly prize is £75 and we have a bonus prize once a year in November of £400.
